Do I need these?

Hi, all I just picked up a 2014 Grizzly 700 it only has 124 miles on it. I always replace the stock Junk tires on every machine I own. I just ordered some Kenda HTR Bear Claws. (What is a Grizzly without its Claws) Lol. That being said I was thinking about putting 1 inch or 1/2 inch wheel spacers on the rear. Do I really need these? I read that Yamaha widened the stance a bit in 2014.

Unfortunately, with Facebook groups a lot of these types of forums have died off, which is a shame.

As to your question, I would caution the use of spacers for two reasons, extra stress on the bearings and any local riding are restrictions on machine width. In MN, anything over 50" wide (measured wheel rim to wheel rim) becomes a class II ATV and starts limiting trails allowed on.

Nice choice on the tires, I run a set of 27's on mine. Awesome tire, especially in snow and plowing.
