Yamaha glide plate fitment

Yamaha discontinued the part number for the genuine Yamaha accessories glide plate for the 2009 grizzly, but still make one for 16+. Will a 2016 glide plate fit on a 2009 (550 EPS 4x4)? Thanks

The glide plate you need is the same one that goes on the 16-18 Kodiak 700. The part number is B16-F84NO-VO. The Grizzly for the newer years has a different frame.

I don't see a cross reference for the part number to cover the older machines. I know I have read somewhere that this one fits the older 550 and 700.

hm for the info but I think I need to do more research, I'm not seeing that part number show compatibility with a 2009. I agree the new body style grizzly's have a new chassis and those will certainly not work on the older ones.
