I enjoy the beautiful scenery in the shots but it is an ATV site. Maybe make the contest a " most informative post of the month", or "most helpfull post of the month" or "best mod of the month" something along those lines. JMO

Only problem with doing something like that is then it starts to be about who spends more on there quad, something that does not make a level playing field and something we will probably won't do to keep it fair for everyone! On a side note their will be some small changes that will help make contests even more a level playing field that I think everyone will like!

So what is the actual contest going to be? Will it be for bragging rights or a prize? Will it be quarterly or monthly? Will the winner get their image posted on the homepage or in a special thread? It's all is a little vague from your post and poll questions.

I'll enter and vote every month regardless of what the contest ends up being although a video contest might be more fun , at least for some of us


Edit: Just noticed that VS has turned on adchoice to all the images posted on the site. If you don't know what I am talking about then log out and view any image posted here from photo bucket or linked from other sites. Simply mouse over any visible image to see the ads lol..So I actually won't post images here anymore because of it. Sorry but not looking for them to make any money of me even if it's pennies lol.

It's funny how the ads change to whatever it was I had previously done a search on! 😮

Actually we never posted anything about a new contest yet, we are only collecting info so we can see what exactly we want to do in a all new contest or contests. One thing will be for sure there will be a changes from the original no matter what it is. As far as posting pics no one forces anyone to post pics and if you don't want it seen by everyone on the web don't post it! My advise would be to make a separate folder from sites like photobucket so when you post pics on any forum so only those pictures you want seen are viewed from that folder. Be smart with anything you post on the web as after it is posted it will more than likely be their forever!!! Any time join any group or forum on the web the owner or owners of those sites have the right to do what they want with any of the content on it!

The poll is adding up to about the same as the votes during the contest so it just goes to show lots of people don't care till it's gone!

I'll support a contest as best as I can. I don't know how you could level the playing field though. Maybe if others felt they actually had a chance of winning they'd get involved. Then again, maybe not.

It not so much leveling the playing field that needs to be fixed as it is getting people to want to be involved in or with it. Just remember you can't win it if you are not in it......
