Rode the Continental Divide - 25Sept10

Took a ride this afternoon up on the Idaho / Montana border. Griz ran perfectly the whole time. Base was 6000ft and saw a height of 8850ft. Gas guage was showing 1/8 to 1/4 when I got back.. but only took 2.7 Gal of fuel to fill it? (went 58.2miles) I guess the gas guage is a bit skewed?

Had a blast and will go back again and again. Many different trails in the area.

EDIT: OK, I looked at the album (heehee)...that's some wild looking country. Wish I were there (or, for that matter, anywhere on my grizz...havn't been able to ride for over a month )

When I saw this I just had to stop and take a few pics. It was the shape and scale of a roller coaster.

I am truely blessed. Spent all my life in the southeast & mid-west. Now have a chance to live out here. And I'm not going to let it slip by either. Got myself a BB quad w/efi and Im gonna get out and see Gods creation!

Looks awesome. We are truly blessed to live where we live. Glad you are getting out and riding your Grizz. Gotta love EFI when you are riding high altitudes.
