Clutch Install Tech Video Yamaha Grizzly 450
With the help of The Modfather....well I should say I filmed while Jack did all the work lol, we put together a clutch install video on my Yamaha Grizzly 450 for everyone. Hope you guys like the videos and keep in mind this tech video will apply to the whole Yamaha Grizzly lineup. Thanks Jack for taking part in this and for showing me around your neck of the woods, I hope to do it again once I change out the tires.
Edit: I have uploaded a new version of this video. It is now just one video and has a bit of the info that was originally edited out due to time constraints....
Okay so here is a little outake video I threw together. It's short and is really just us messing around as everything went pretty smooth. Jack did a great job with everything and I know it must have been a little hard with me messing around with him so much but he kept plugging along....lol
I marked the video NSFW due to my childish antics and of course some cursing.

I like part in part 2, "DO NOT USE IMPACT TO REMOVE NUT FULLY OR PARTS WILL GO FLYING" Then 2 seconds later "Well parts are off now" LOL
The video was great and I definately liked the part where you tested it in neutral. I never really understood how the clutch works.

The evel one
Butcher once again you've produced an excellent video, Brother it's excellent..Hoping to hear the top end is all there as well. I'm planning this mod myself in the near future. Also for the music...it complimented the video very well...
Jack that was a great tutorial....great mechanical skills there as well. A job well done...I'm sure Butcher is well pleased with the results. Thanks for pioneering this set-up. I really dig the no grease set-up and less rotational mass is great too...I'm just sayin"

As expected, another flawless production from Butch450! Great job Butch!
Jack, excellent commentary and, not surprising, a great job on the mod!
This should be very helpful to all those interested in a similar setup or even those just looking to learn.
Thanks guys...wonderful!

Due to limitted time I was unable to put alot of Jacks explainations into the videos. The 660 and 450 are a little different as far as the amount of threads and he thought he had a little more room prior to that happening. That was the only thing that didn't go perfect on the first take and the 3 of us (Jack's friend Rick was also there) got a real good laugh from it.

I knew you would like my music choices....lol. I will let you know by Sunday night about top end.
And Diz I can't stress enough what a great job Jack did with this install. It's not every day that you have a camera shoved in your face , but Jack managed to make it all look easy. I give him alot of credit for putting himself out there for the world to see. (well maybe not the world but you know what I mean) I have no problem grabbing some face time but I know very few people who would have the balls to do what he just did and do a great job of it also.

Butch and Jack. Top notch install tutorial. You guy's did an outstanding job. With this video to refer to I may not have to convince Jack to take a trip here when I get ready to do mine.

Excellent video production Butch. And excellent job with the tutorial Jack.
This is a great step by step, it definitely gives the user who is considering this modification the confidence to go forth and do it no matter what the skill level.

Nice job Butch on the video production!
Knowing what we did and didn't do makes this video really cool because your
edit work came out really good.
Too bad there wasn't a magic filter on the lens to make me look better -
As for the nut on the secondary - let me explain - Do as I say, Not as I do!
Anyway - with all the production on the video (angles, light, sound, ect.) I really didn't
pay the proper amount of attention to that spring removal. It is much safer to break the nut loose
with the gun and complete the removel with the spring compressor in the opposite steps as the install
showed me putting it on.
That being said - it can be done the other way as well..............

Great job guys!
Thank you both for such an informative video. I think it will become the standard for anyone trying to do this mod.
Thanks again

Oh - I forgot to mention that Butch is a real nice guy and it was a pleasure to
work with him on the both the mod & the video.
Butch and I have rode together several times and sometimes o nthe forum we kid each other
(both up front & back handed) but it's just that - kidding.
It was a pleasure to help out a friend and get his install done for him.
Now Jay - I see you have a request as well - Exactly how much is a round trip plane ticket..........
