Default GBC Dirt Tamers

GBC Dirt Tamers anyone run these tires or know of anybody who runs them and whats your opinion on them,i'm leaning on getting these over BH OG'S. love the look of these tires and they have just as good of reviews as BH'S if not better....and no comparison in the price either just that there not a radial tough choice

No experience with the DTs, ruled them out in favor of the BG OGs (radials rock) and love them.

The BG OGs are getting very hard to get... if you want them, best jump on 'em!

I don't have them but talked to guy had them and said he liked them. Didn't get into more detail, but I haven't really heard anything bad about gbc tires in general.

I got a set for my brother last year for dads old Honda that he used deer hunting and surf fishing on the island and he loves em. For in the woods in leaves and mud they seem to do quite well. I don't know how they would hold up in sharp rocks and such like i ride in WV on but i couldn't beat the price with a comparable tire which was something else that swayed me to them. I think it has a lot to do with what you need for the tire to do for you, whether it's trail riding in lots of rock and ruff terrain or more sand and mud or hard pac trails and roadbeds. Or if traction or durability is more of a priority, all things to consider for the amount of money you want to spend!

Exact same terrain as WV,I drive out of my backyard and right up into the mountains. So the tire has to do a little of everything, rocks, trees, stumps, mud ,snow, hardpack, coal and lumber roads, coal banks, swamps and the occasional blacktop road.

I've got 27" Dirt Tamers on my grizz and I can tell you they are much more aggressive than Bighorns, by a long shot. Sidewalls are stiff but mine arent broken in yet (only 1 ride) They did excellent in snow and on ice. Being a bias tire they are fairly light and should hold up to some serious abuse. Well worth the money so far, I'll have more ride time on them once I get back home.

Been reading about them... to me, the tread is very similar to the BH so I don't understand them being "more aggressive." Bias vs Radial and $122.00 vs $135 in 26".

Radials are a real plus... For only $13.00 more, I'd still go Bighorn.

Scarf them there perfect for what we ride same as you..A friend has them on his 700 King Quad and he rips them hard..I wanted to try Radials is why I chose the Big Horns 2.0 and there lighter..
just remember the DT runs small..Lucky you to have the terain outback..Awesome.

Mast Guy ... I had the Dirt Tamers for several years. And I even modified mine by cutting extra grooves in the tread blocks. Love'em ....

Love'em unti I bought some "Reptile Radials" that is ... dude, what a difference the radial tire made. And the

Reptiles get around better & look Bad To The Bone !!

Only bad thing about the Reptiles is they're kinda heavy if that's an issue to ya & they run small. (A 26 inch tire is only 25 inches tall)
