686 bbk - Grizzly Riders

I have ordered a 686 kit, raptor cam, jet kit, odyssey battery and a new air filter. Soon as i get all the parts in i will start building the bike. I am going to do my best to take pics of it all and post it up once i am done.. I am also going to do a DIY snorkel kit.

I hope to be working on it neext week..

Also does anyone have a service manual that i can view online for free??

OK so yesterday i recieved my BBK, battery, air filter, and raptor cam !!!!!!!!!! All i am waiting on is my jet kit and cam springs!!! Trear down begins tomorrow!!!!!!!!

Update. I got all the parts now.. The top end is off ! Cam is out ! all bolts are in bags and labeled! I have taken some pics of things we did. Let me just say with out a manual this tear down would not b possible ! I am takin the cylinder in tomorrow to get machined. Hopefully they will have it back to me by the end of the week. If all works out it'll b put back together and then starting the snorkle kit.. I really hope this goes well keep ur fingers crossed for me !

Good deal man!! I got my cylinder back last Friday, so Saturday I went to putting her back together, well...while I was trying to put in the circlip for the wrist pin, the circlip went flying into the black hole that I didnt know I had in my shop. So, I had to order some more circlips from JE. Hopefully I'll be getting back to wrenching soon. And my fingers are crossed for ya bro!

Dang dude that sucks!!!!!! I will be sure to be careful when i get to that part!!!! I was going to drop off my cylinder today but there is this funny thing about being in the military.... You see i am a Combat Arms Instructor but i am still aa security forces member and they like to pull us over to flight to ework for exercises and i got picked to do it today. So needless to say I didnt get to drop it off today so if all goes well it will be dropped off tomorrow snd hopfully be back by the weekend........ Cross your fingers for me!!!!!!!!!!!!1

grizzlywagon No I am not upgrading the rad.... I am only doing the 10/75/1 compression BBK for that reason but I will be that ice stuff soon as i can find it LOL!!!

Cylinder is dropped off and should be back to me on friday well that is what they told me anyway......

What type of lub/teflon tape or any thing else will I be needing to do the
reassembly
