Default first accessories to get?

Hey everyone!
I just purchased my 550 yesterday and pick it up Wednesday. What are some good accessories you guys recommend? I'm mainly using her for fishing and trail riding. Right now I'm looking into some hand guards, HIDs, and maybe that 2R exhaust tip. Would it be ok to put that tip on a brand new machine? Also later this summer I plan on getting skidplates and a winch. Any recommendations?
a lot!

I don't think the 2r tip is going to do much to drastically change the machine to alter your warranty. I agree, stock tires suck, depending on your type of trails there's a much better choice to suit your needs. Sound like you got a pretty good list going.

Yeah, I just want it for a slightly louder sound. I plan on getting new tires after I get used to the machine. Are there any tire upgrades that fit the stock rims? I kinda like the five spoke rims that come with the EPS haha.

Yea, most tires will fit stock rims as long as they are designed for the rims you have.

Should I wait til my wheeler is broken in to install the tip? Should I also look into a different air filter?

Just ride it for now and enjoy. Then when you feel the need to get a little bold. Get yourself a winch. Winch trumps tires. Tires of any make can get stuck winch gets you out. I don't use mine often but it was my first mod and it's like good insurance it's better to have it and not need it then to not have it and need it.

Tires first.

The 2R tip is great but wait till you get a few miles on the motor otherwise you'll get a lot of backfires. Took my Grizzly in for it's first service sporting a 2R and the dealer didn't mention a thing.

I ride alone so the next thing I got was a winch... after that skids and bumpers.

Welcome aboard and enjoy your new toy!

I did my 2R tip after the first 20 hour break-in. I don't know if I needed to wait, but it sure didn't hurt. Plus, it was incentive to hurry up and RIDE!

I think first investments are winch, wheel spacers, clutch shim, skids, tires, secondary spring. Then again, it all depends on what you are interested in doing first, and what kind of riding you do.

Or, just do EVERYTHING all at once and be done with it. I personally can't afford this approach, but I'd do it if I could.
