969 more posts G-Man, My thought: if the cheap toggle switch gets wet, may short out, and may go off for the entire ride. Hope your co riders do not mind a 'little" noise. Try and find a marine grade water proof one or a rubber boot to go over the switch.

They sell the good switches with the rubber boots at Napa... it'll cost you about $15 for both pieces, but well worth it. I was running my fan off a non marine type switch and it usually only lasted 2 rides before it shorted out. Marine switch lasted me months and months before having any issues.

Default The evel one

LB I'll break it down for you....
Dr. mud said if you leave it like that it will fail....The switch will get wet and short out...likely it'll short out but be stuck on!! It's made for interior mounting LB...

Then Harvestor said you can get a better one at NAPA...even better get a marine grade switch....better still take that damn Po Lice siren off and run over the damn thing with the Grizz...even better...use the truck too run over it!!!!!

Then you said you were confused.......

Hammer said his suspicions of you confusion were confirmed....

and that was pretty damn funny
