Warn and superwinch are the same in someways. I would pick SW over warn due to the face being they have always worked for me. But for warn you are paying for the name!!

i havent owned anything other than warn so i cant say.
my friend had 2 viper3000 eletes that almost burned his quad to the ground twice.
so i will never buy a viper no matter how cheap they are.
the KYI the our sponser showed the other day makes me think they are all made in one or 2 factories and just labled differant later at the dealer. they all look the same. except a couple differances like the freespool knob, contactors and swithches.

I have seen a warn almost do the same thing on a suzuki samurai, luckly he was able to get the battery disconnected in time, fried his wiring though. But for the most part Warn's are great, but I think viper's are just as good for less. JMO

Most all winches use the same motor the difference comes in gearing and the type of gears (quality) they use. Another difference is does the winch use dynamic (Most winches under 6000 lbs) drum or disc break. Warn (to my knowledge) is the only one to use a disk break setup on its 2500lbs winches and larger. And No G-man super winch and Warn are not the same. SW is a ok winch no better or wose than any of the foreign made ones.
