If you install a 2R Tip on a carburetated Grizz are there any adjustments to be made to the Carb?

Would I be ok running this tip at sea level here in AK? I plan on getting a uni filter too. Just worried about running too lean and needing tuning.

After yesterday's ride... my first time riding with a group, I took mine off and returned the exhaust to stock.

My 700 backfired like crazy going down steep hills when coming off the throttle and every time the group would stop, I had to kill my engine to be able to hear what was being said.

Maybe after I get some more miles on the Grizzly it won't backfire but the 2R tip, as good as it sounds, is just too dang loud!

I had the same problem with mine, kept backfiring going down hill and also had it stall a couple of time if i let off the throttle quickly. I have close to 400 miles on my grizz and have had the tip on since about 20 miles........so i took it off and put the stock one back on and have not had either one of the problems since!

If you backfire during de-acceleration you are running lean.

I knew someone was gonna say that... the thing is, it doesn't do it with the stock exhaust and it didn't do it with the tip on unless I came off the throttle quickly going down a steep hill.
