edeuce, I don't believe I would be making plans for a trip to WV either with the new baby arriving end of March or the 1st of April.

AND, you are right, there will be future rides that will be as good or better than this one being planned.

Congratulations also on having the next champion Grizzly Rider...MD

The riding popularity of Southern WV, especially the Ashland/Outlaw trails/Hatfield McCoy Indian Ridge, Pinnacle Creek, and the new Pocahontas Trails is growing, especially in the group I usually ride with.

The last couple of weeks has brought our April 12-15 ride up to almost 30 riders. With several from here on GR and lots of friends of friends from NC, SC, VA, & TN, our riding trip has sure grown. We will have the normal issues to deal with like fast riders vs slower riders and hurrying up just to wait in the mornings, but we are committed to making it work.

KEETER has agreed to un-leash his guide service to help us travel some areas of the Outlaw Trail and hopefully get us started on the new Pocahontas trail that we have not had the pleasure of riding yet. I also see on the Ashland ATV Resort web page that the new Pocahontas Trail will be open for riding and fully connected to the Indian Ridge Trail up the mountain above the Campground and Trail head.

Keeter, if you read this, maybe you can describe where the connector actually connects to the IR trail.

We plan to smell up the area frying onions, bacon, sausage, and eggs in the mornings to get everbody motivated for the daily rides. Yall come if you can...MD

JHFwIC. You are right. My first thoughts are like a long train, the engine travels a mile before the caboose moves.

We are expecting to split up. If for no other reason the slower and faster souls.

We did handle 22 one te to Welch and back without losing a one. We also use radios as much as possible.

Yamaguy and Sonic hep keep us straight...md
